You don’t need too many words to explain who the OREGON TEAM is and what its history is. The sentence you have just read says everything about us. It perfectly identifies the spirit, which since 1987, has driven us to continue to improve ourselves in a competitive world such as that of motor racing. It’s a fighting spirit, the spirit of someone who didn’t want to and never wants to give up. It has been like this since 1987 when we founded a team that ventured into Autocross by winning the Italian title in 1990 with Jerry Canevisio. This prompted us to broaden our horizons and tackle the trail. We did it in 1991 in the Formula Monza Cadetti Trophy, an authentic training ground for engines and life. Between 1994 and 1995 we managed to win three absolute titles. Two in the Cadetti Trophy and one in the Aica Trophy, the series that ran away from Monza. It was time to try something different and in 1996 we tried the Formula Renault Eurocup.
Alternating fortunes convinced us to try the road of covered wheels and so in the following three years we raced the Coppa Italia Megane managing to win the junior title in 2000 with Davide Cazzaniga. We switched to the Clios and the Europa. Junior champions in 2001 and second overall, third overall in 2002 then the beautiful European title in 2003 with Michael Rangoni. This allowed us to get noticed by Alfa Romeo who gave us three ALFA ROMEO 156 S2000 to race in the Etcc.
