Oregon Team unveils its 2023 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe line-up

After clinching two titles in a row in the last two years, Oregon Team is set for its fourth season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe unveiling a first-rate line-up.

Following the success claimed in the Pro class by Leonardo Pulcini and Kevin Gilardoni in 2021, the team headed by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa celebrated last year the Pro-Am crown with Massimo Ciglia and Lewis Williamson and now is ready to double fielding four Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 cars in 2023.

Three of them will be for Pro duos. Marzio Moretti and Sebastian Balthasar will form and experienced pair. The Mantova-based racer – who turned 21 last January – made his Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut in 2022 and scored a victory at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. 26-year-old German Balthasar, who competed in the Italian GT in 2022, joins this year Oregon Team for the first time to make is Super Trofeo return after he he claimed a win in the one-make series at Zandvoort in 2021.

Another Pro duo will be formed by 17-year-old Brazil’s Pedro Ebrahim, who graduates from kart to cars, and Spaniard Guillem Pujeu. The latter – 22 years old – makes also his return to the Super Trofeo after making his first appearance two years ago in the Pro-Am for Oregon Team.

Italia 24-year-old Filippo Berto is ready for his second consecutive season in the Pro and will be joined by 19-year-old rookie Alessandro Mainetti.

Oregon Team will support the Pro-Am car shared by Enrico Bettera and Lorenzo Pegoraro, that made only one entry last year in Imola and now are ready for a full season campaign.

The 2023 calendar of Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will consist in six double rounds: Imola (5/7 May), Paul Ricard (2/4 June), Spa-Francorchamps (29 June/1 July), Nürburgring (28/30 July), Valencia (15/17 September) and Vallelunga (16/17 November). The Roman track will host in the same weekend the Grand Finals opened also to Asian e North American drivers.
