OREGON TEAM GOES ALL-IN WITH FOUR CARS IN THE LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE KICKING-OFF THIS WEEKEND AT PAUL RICARD

Oregon Team is fielding a four-car entry in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, which gets underway this weekend at the French circuit of Paul Ricard. It’s a strong line-up for team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa, who are entering one more car than they did last year in the one-make series reserved for the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2s.

The Italian squad will be present in three out of four classes, including a double entry in the Pro. One confirmed name is 18-year-old Enzo Geraci, who made significant progress last season winning the Lamborghini Squadra Corse Young Driver Programs shootout last November. Teaming up with him will be 20-year-old newcomer Czech driver Josef Knopp, who has experience in GT4 and was crowned champion of the German series in 2024.

Also competing in the Pro category is a brand-new pairing featuring young rookie Rosario Messina (born in 2005). The Sicilian boy has recently raced in the Mitjet Italia Racing Series and the Italian GT Cup. He will share driving duties with 17-year-old Polish driver Gustaw Wisniewski, who arrives from karting and will be making his debut in the continental series after a strong showing in single-seaters, including the Spanish and Danish Formula 4 championships.

In the Am category, Massimo Ciglia returns to action. He previously won the 2022 Pro-Am title with Oregon Team before a stint in the Italian GT Championship. He’ll be sharing the cockpit with the experienced Pietro Perolini, who has been part of the Canevisio-Testa squad since 2022 and raced in the International GT Open the following year.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut also awaits Adalberto Baptista. The Brazilian driver has already raced with Oregon Team in the Renault RS Trophy and will now compete in the Lamborghini Cup.
