Oregon Team announces its line-up for the GT Open season

Oregon Team launches a three-car attack in the International GT Open. The Italian team returns to the continental series aiming to regain the title won in its very first season in the series as Leonardo Pulcini and Benjamin Hites became the 2022 champions.

The upcoming season, which effectively kicked off with the Barcelona Winter Test that ended on Wednesday, will be particularly intense for the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa.

Oregon Team will field three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars. Marzio Moretti and Artem Petrov will share the wheel of one of the Sant’Agata Bolognese cars (number 19). Moretti, a 22-year-old from Mantova, comes from the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe where he secured two victories last year at Paul Ricard and Valencia, both with Oregon Team. Petrov, 24, already has a season in GT3 in the Italian GT Championship under his belt, where in 2023 he clinched a victory at Monza in the Sprint series.

Factory driver Leonardo Pulcini (born in ’98) will return to the grid with the Lamborghini number 63, having spent last year competing full-time in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance championship. The Roman driver will share the wheel with Swissman Rolf Ineichen.

On car number 10, the other factory driver, Jordan Pepper, will be joined by Italian Alessio Deledda, who has been a regular presence in the DTM over the last two seasons.

The International GT Open calendar will feature eight events, starting from Portimão on the weekend of April 28th. After the Algarve round, the series will head to Hockenheim, Germany (May 12th), followed by Spa (May 26th), Hungaroring (June 23rd), Paul Ricard (July 21st), Red Bull Ring (September 15th), Barcelona (September 29th), and Monza (October 20th).
