Oregon Team returns to track this coming weekend (14-15 September) for the sixth of eight International GT Open rounds scheduled to take place at the Red Bull Ring track.
At the Austrian rollercoaster the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa will be back on the grid fielding as usual three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars. One of these for Rolf Ineichen, who is set to rejoin the squad after being forced to miss the two previous rounds of Hungaroring and Paul Ricard due to the posthumous of the crash he suffered during the first qualifying session at Spa. The Swiss racer, who completed a test day at Vallelunga two weeks ago, will share driving duties with factory driver Leonardo Pulcini, who alongside German youngster Simon Connor Primm secured a victory in Budapest.
Another car will be for Alessio Deledda and South African Jordan Pepper, who claimed a victory last May at Hockenheim and claimed a third-place finish at Le Castellet in July, finishing second in the Spa mini-endurance. Deledda, who paired with Maximilian Paul at the Hungaroring, sits second in the stadings just three points behind the Audi duo formed by Christopher Haase and Simon Reicher.
Artem Petrov and Marzio Moretti will share the third Lambo and will try to bounce back following a tough first part of the season.
The two free practice sessions will kick-off the Red Bull Ring weekend. Qualifying one will start on Saturday at 9:50 to define the grid of the first 70-minute race scheduled since 14:20. Race two (one hour) will commence on Sunday at 13:15 after the Q2 session at 9:15.
Both races will be live streamed on YouTube @GTOPENseries.
