Oregon Team announces Guillem Pujeu for the 2021 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe campaign. The 20-year-old Spaniard joins Italian Massimo Ciglia to complete a Pro-Am crew. Pujeu – who was a race winner in 2018 F4 Spain – made his Super Trofeo debut last season.
“I’m very happy to return to the Super Trofeo Europe and to join the Lamborghini family also this year“, Guillem commented. “I want to thank Oregon Team for this opportunity. I’ll do my best“.
Oregon Team will field another Huracán ST Evo car for the Pro duo formed by 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo runner-up Kevin Gilardoni – who claimed a total of three victories last season – and young newcomer Leonardo Pulcini.
The 23-year-old Rome-based racer Pulcini, who also makes his Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe debut, clinched the Euroformula Open title in 2016 and raced in many single-seater categories like GP3 and FIA Formula 3, to move to the Italian GT last year driving a Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo.
With a over 30-car strong grid, action at Monza will start on Friday with the two free practice sessions. Qualifying 1 and 2 will get underway on Saturday from 10:40, followed by Race 1 at 16:05. The second of the 50-minute races is scheduled on Sunday at 11:50.
