Oregon Team aims for a third win in GT Open at Paul Ricard

Four weeks after securing their second win of the season at the most recent round at Hungaroring, Oregon Team is ready to tackle  the fifth of eight GT Open events scheduled at the Paul Ricard circuit.

In France this coming weekend (20-21 July), the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa arrives with a new addition. Joining Leonardo Pulcini in one of three Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars will be the young Belgian Amaury Bonduel, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro class leader, who replaces absent Rolf Ineichen. Bonduel and Pulcini (the latter finished first in the second race at Budapest alongside Simon Connor Primm) will form a high-lever crew aiming for top positions.

Driving a second Lamborghini will be returning Jordan Pepper, who missed the Hungaroring round due to a clash with the IMSA. South African will share driving duties with Alessio Deledda, who won at Hockenheim last May.

Marzio Moretti  and Artem Petrov are fully confirmed. The pair endured a tough season start, claiming so far a best eight-place finish at the Portimão opener and now are eager for redemption.

In the overall standings Deledda sits fourth with 53 point, seven more than leaders Dominik Baumann and Mikaeel Pitamber (Mercedes). Pepper is at 45 points, followed by Pulcini (40).

The two free practice sessions will start the action on Friday. Qualifying one will commence on Saturday at 11:35 am. The first of two races (70 minutes long) will start at 17:45 pm. Qualifying two is scheduled on Sunday at 9:30  am. Race two (60 minutes) will start at 13:35 pm.

Both races will be live streamed on www.youtube.com/user/GTOPENseries.
